Happy New Year!

This is the time of year for wishing in the new year and saying good bye to the old. A time for new beginnings and putting the past behind us. Anything is possible for the new year, your only limit is your imagination, your drive and commitment.

It is for this reason that many people come up with New Year Resolutions. The most popular tend to be losing weight, stopping smoking … etc. But, here is a thought for you, my New Year Resolutions are a bit different this year. Here they are, let me know if any of them match yours.

My New Year Resolutions for this year are:

To love a little deeper

Don’t be so stingy with my forgiveness

Be the best father I can

Be the best husband I can

Be the best neighbor I can (worldwide)

Help someone everyday

Have an easy smile and kind word for strangers I pass

There are the possibility for several more along these same lines, but to sum my resolutions up I want to, in my small way, try to make the world a better place. Because I can’t, for the life of me, figure out where we went so wrong in our priorities in this world.

“What’s Going On” by Marvin Gaye comes to mind as I sit here writing my humble wishes for you to have a better year. Because, honestly, there are far too many mothers crying in our world today. There are far too many of my brothers and sisters dying today. What’s going on, where did we go so wrong in our priorities.

The number one priority should be to love our brothers and sisters. But, have we ever truly loved each other, I don’t know. I’m only a man. However, maybe my humble acts of kindness will lead to others who are only men and women to do the same. Then, maybe we can change the world.

With this humble well wishing I want to express how thankful I am for my followers and for those who’ve just stumbled across this article and found it helpful and inspirational. With that I say

Happy New Year, I hope next year is a much better for you and your’s and I mean this from the bottom of my heart, with all of the grace I can muster and I Love You. God Bless.
